HOMESTAY

Vancouver welcomes hundreds of international students each year, so the city is abundant with homestay placement facilities. Generally speaking, all homestay facilities ensure that the Canadian host family has been carefully screened, and provides you with a private room, three meals per day, and most importantly, a great opportunity for you to learn more about Canadian culture and the English language.

The cost for living as a homestay is roughly $650-$730 Canadian dollars per month, and this varies only by a few dollars across each placement facility. Some facilities also charge a placement fee, and/or an airport pick up fee. However if you are enrolled with OMNI College, we will pick you up and send you to your homestay family free of charge.
